Actually, this a very sad movie. I felt a great sadness for this girl and her affliction. I knew a family that had this particular disease and they were so persecuted in Sarasota, Florida. They traveled in a small circus and had go shopping for groceries late at night because people would stare at them and ask them if they knew it wasn't Halloween. Yeah, people can be cruel. Actually, I think this movie brings a good point across about this condition. The acting isn't great, but one can feel empathy for the girl. The ending was kind of strange though. Watch it and see if you can understand the consternation of the predicament. How would any of us handle such a malady?
